Hi, I'm Rob. I design and build things across creative and technical disciplines: real-time 3D and immersive work, software, graphic design, sound, and the planning that holds a project together. Inmo is my studio, and home to select client work and self-published projects.
I’ve been delivering creative and technical work for over 20 years. Starting with graphic design and production for bespoke physical media, I moved through web design and development to spend the past decade focussed on creative technology: VR training and learning tools, museum installations and interactive systems, for clients across education, industry and the cultural sector.
I’ve worked as both a solo developer and a member of in-house technical teams, coordinated and directed others, and particularly enjoy cross-disciplinary roles where I can keep the whole project in view while still getting hands-on with the build.
My personal interests include mental health and wellbeing, and how people, myself included, develop, sustain and inhabit their own creative practice.
I’m available for contract work of varied scale and scope, and happy to talk about part-time or full-time employed roles where there’s a good fit.
New connections are always welcome, with or without a project in mind. Whether you’d like to collaborate, swap ideas or just say hello, please drop me a line.
